Support Foster Care Furniture with a membership or donation

We are a 501 C-3 non-profit affiliated with Maker Shop Boise, and Boise WoodCraft. Our mission has two components:
1. An intensive training program in woodworking for foster youth aging out of foster care, assisting them in becoming employed.
2. We also build hand-crafted furniture to be sold, with proceeds going to help “foster” care.

The foster care program is struggling because of the lack of foster home availability. Foster kids need help. Your annual membership can support this effort, and help these kids. Help us help them.

Members receive:

PINE Membership $175:

  • Set of four wooden coasters with the message: “I donated to help “foster” care” inscribed on back.
  • Introductory tour of the Maker Shop and WoodCraft facility.
  • 5% discount on Foster Care Furniture, Maker Shop, and WoodCraft items on your first
    order.
  • Newsletter listing the classes being presented at the Maker Shop.
  • Listing as a member on our website.
  • Annual report of Foster Care Furniture’s progress on helping foster youth.

WALNUT Membership $300:

  • Maple cutting board with the message: “I donated to help foster care.”
  • Introductory tour of the Maker Shop and WoodCraft facility.
  • 10% discount on Foster Care Furniture, Maker Shop, and WoodCraft items on your first
    order.
  • Newsletter listing the classes being presented at the Maker Shop.
  • Listing as a member on our website.
  • Quarterly report on Foster Care Furniture’s progress on helping foster youth.

MAHOGANY Membership $500:

  • Walnut wine rack and a set of four wooden coasters with the message: I donated to help foster care inscribed on back of coasters.
  • Introductory tour of the Maker Shop and WoodCraft facility.
  • 10% discount on Foster Care Furniture, Maker Shop, and WoodCraft items on your first order.
  • Newsletter listing the classes being presented at the Maker Shop.
  • Listing as a member on our website.
  • Semi-monthly report on Foster Care Furniture’s progress on helping foster youth.
